Privacy Policy for Vertebro

Vertebro is built to be private by design. The app has no accounts, no sign-up, and no server that stores your data. Your posture photos and analysis results are processed and stored entirely on your device.
1. Data That Stays on Your Device
- Posture photos: The front and side photos you capture or select are analyzed by an AI model that runs directly on your phone. They are never uploaded to us or to any third party.
- Analysis results: Your posture scores, measurements, and scan history are stored only in the app's local storage on your device.
- Preferences and activity: Your goals, reminder settings, and exercise history are likewise stored only on your device.
Deleting the app permanently deletes all of this data. We cannot recover it because we never had it.
2. Data We Do Not Collect
We do not collect your name, email address, photos, health data, location, or contacts. There is no account to create and no profile stored on our servers.
3. Purchases
Subscriptions are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play), and your subscription status is managed through RevenueCat under a random, anonymous identifier. Neither we nor RevenueCat receive your name, email address, or payment card details from this process. Apple's and Google's own privacy policies apply to the payment itself.
4. Notifications
Posture reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device. They do not involve any server and can be turned off at any time in the app or in your device settings.
5. Analytics
Vertebro collects anonymous usage analytics through PostHog to understand how the app is used and to improve it. This is limited to things like which screens are viewed, which features are used (for example that a scan was completed or an exercise routine was finished), device type, and app version, tied to a random per-install identifier.
Analytics never include your photos, your posture scores or measurements, your name, email address, or anything that identifies you personally.
6. Children
Vertebro is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update this page and the "Last Updated" date above.
