Terms of Service for Vertebro

Welcome to Vertebro. By using the Vertebro mobile application (the "App"), you agree to be bound by the following terms. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to use the App. By using Vertebro, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.
2. Medical Disclaimer (Not Medical Advice)
Vertebro is a wellness aid intended for educational and informational purposes only.
- Not a Medical Device: The App is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
- AI Limitations: Automated posture analysis can produce errors due to lighting, clothing, camera angles, or software limitations. Results should be treated as estimates, not clinical facts.
- Consult a Professional: Always seek the advice of a physician, physical therapist, or other qualified healthcare provider regarding any physical pain, discomfort, or medical conditions. Never disregard professional medical advice because of something you have seen in Vertebro.
- Use at Your Own Risk: Use of the App and any associated suggestions is entirely at your own risk.
3. Physical Activity & Exercise Safety
The App suggests corrective stretches and exercises.
- Consult a healthcare professional before starting any new exercise routine.
- If you experience pain, dizziness, or shortness of breath while performing any suggested movement, stop immediately.
- Vertebro is not responsible for any injuries that may occur while performing suggested activities.
4. Photos and Your Content
- On-device only: Photos you capture or select are analyzed and stored entirely on your device and are never transmitted to us. See our Privacy Policy for details.
- Your own images: Only analyze images of yourself, or of others with their express permission.
5. Subscriptions, Payments, and Refunds
- Payments: Subscriptions are purchased through, and billed by, the Apple App Store or Google Play.
- Auto-renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings; deleting the App does not cancel a subscription.
- Free trials: If a free trial is offered, any unused portion is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
- Refunds: Refunds are handled by Apple and Google under their respective store policies.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vertebro and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to personal injury, inaccuracies in analysis results, or data loss arising out of your use of the App. The App is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis.
7. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
